Everything highlighted yellow does not have a use at the moment, possibly never.

Silks and Fluids are for silk items
Pelts and Marrows are for leather items
Ores and Loams are for plate/chain items

Trivial listed is for the template combines and dont use fluid/marrow/loam.
Trivials after names are for the final combines to make armor/symbols.


The Silk/Pelt/Ore is used to make a "template" and are very common drops. The Fluid/Marrow/Loam are used for the final combine to make something actually usable like wearable armor/symbol aug/charm and are more rare drops.

Mob level is what level a mob should be to drop the item according the the GM. IF an item drops, there is a 92% chance that it will be of this level, 6% chance it will be 1 level lower and 2% chance it is the next level higher.


Only some types can actually make a finished armor/symbol/charm. They are marked by the armor/symbol name on the right. All others can make templates for skillups, but do not use their corresponding Fluid/Marrow/Loam because they are not able to make a usable finished armor/symbol/charm item. Thus that Fluid/Marrow/Loam is highlighted yellow, meaning no current use.

Found a silk robe template that is 255 for pristine and changed it. Dont see anything else in that range.

A lot of the silk robe trivials are 5 higher than the other chests at the same level for some reason.

Oh, and might want to prereserve space in the table for the 75/80 stuff coming in the expansion.

Ore/Loam drops off golem/gargoyle type mobs.
Silk/Spinneret Fluid drops off spiders/drachnids/etc.
Leather/Marrow drops of animals.
"Humanoid" mobs can drop any of the types.

They are global drops, any mob of the appropriate body-type/level-range combination can drop items.

That info is wrong. I got 2 seperate levels of silk from the same humanoid mob (one natural silk, one of the adjacent levels in the same kill's loot) so there has to be some overlap.

Note that the level 80 Loam/Marrow/Fluid drops mainly in SoF zones (my theory is it drops elsewhere only on the 2% uproll chance), whereas the Ore/Hide/Silk seem global if the mob is high enough.

I actually have enough materials already for 8 L75 symbols and L80 Legs and Symbol for myself once I powerskill the last 13 points of smithing and do the quest to get the symbol pattern books.

The level 80 armor plus the slot 11 symbol plus a LB look to be about 600hp/mana/endurance plus whatever aug you put in the remaining slot.
