The first Cavaet will be always be - if this an AA that you have a burning desire to have - then buy it. If your happier having this AA, then buy it.
Lvl 1 - 12,000 for 3k mana
lvl 2 - 24, 000 for 6k mana
lvl 3 - 36, 000 for 9k mana
Having 36K unresistable nuke (ok except for 100 mobs this will not work on - and I'd like to see a list!) is a great nuke... if it's insta-cast it would be awesome.
But on the other hand - lets look ACF.
ACF is 4070 base fire. That's about 8.8 nukes to equal 36k base damanage... but you have to factor in criticals, resists, and lets not forget our fire foci and mana preservations and Gift of Mana!! etc., and if fire even lands (think Hanvar and a few mobs in GoD zones were we don't use fire base). So there is a chance a wizard can do more damange with ACF in 8 nukes.
Will I get the AA ? most likely at some point cause it is still something that makes wizards unique from other classes and I have a burning desire to try it on a few mobs we are currently farming to see if it lands!!
