REQUIREMENTS for raids.

January 1st - VOA Language Alarian 71 - period - will be no push from noflags.
Feb 1st - Level 95 - or NO push from noflags.

Feb 1st - TENTATIVE - 100 Alarian REQUIRED - plan for it guys it's coming.

These are in addition to the 1750 AA's (still required) and VoA tier flagging, so watch channel call.

Why is the language requirement going up? I do not see a requirement to participate in the raid events (not on alla or rasper). We will not be raiding T4 for a good month.

T4 has nothing to do with it. It's all about the emotes (for which we tend to set Audio Triggers)... Which are in Alaran. Not even going to get into the fact that 'seeing someone glare' at you ... shouldn't be in Alaran, but /shrug.

We've gotten to the point where we are at the 'follow emote or you can't win' raids.

There are things we can do to try to prevent people from missing emotes, but even so - it's 'follow or fail' all to often. (If it was 'follow or the PC dies', or the like, I wouldn't be as worried.)

Not to try to throw any wrenches, (not opposed to the raise) but are these emotes filterable like previous raids? If so there are still a few if not many people who do not rely on audio triggers 100% if they do not have to and pay attention for said emotes. Just wondering out of curiosity.

Assuming it is like the group then yes they go in other.

Yep a fee people myself included NEVER use audio triggers. So needing the exact text would not hurt me as much as someone else. With that said there is really no excuse NOT to get the language done.
