Raid Schedule Changes - EFFECTIVE 10/15/2012

First of all these are not things I take lightly and please know that this has been under discussion for at least 6 months. We saw it coming when the # of raids were starting to be reduced. Jaerlyn and I have been trying to stretch things out most nights but to be honest - most of us are tired of T1 and T2 and are burned out on them so I've removed them from our raid schedule.

With that said based on the events we have in T4 which is our sole focus now - to get raiders into T4 gear and coinage to prepare for an expansion that is probably 1 month out. Doing T1 and T2 does not make sense when that gear will be replaced with Group gear (if gear itemization goes like the last 4 expansions and we see no reason to assume differently).

I am making a permanent change to the raid schedule - this may make some upset, or this might give some inventive raiders a change to do other things (alts/bots) etc.,

First change: - Saturday nights is no longer a raid night - this is a permanent change. Our normal raid schedule will be Monday - Thur.

We will focus on T4 content only (and yes this includes the Sep 5 raid as time permits). Based on what we have seen and what others are experiencing in SEP 5 - this will be an all night raid at best, since Top end server guilds that have this on farm for months take over an hour to be able to complete it, in addition to the 21 emotes that raiders have to follow).

I know we have had some loyal Saturday night raiders - and I apologize, but something had to give in the schedule and Sat typically has been light as most raiders plan things with friends/family for the weekends.

Addendum 10/17

We have raiders off playing around in BETA, we are getting prelaunch events, we have raiders wanting some time to "winterize" their homes or spend time now getting spouse faction so they can devote time to new expansion. We had thought to give a few extra long weekends off to work on stuff prior to launch but raiders want to keep raiding - OK we get that!

So Starting Monday Oct 22nd - we will do the Mon-Thur raid schedule with Fri-Sat-Sun off.

We are not raiding 10/18, 19, 20, 21 - long weekend to do stuff before weather turns bad!.
