Hello all, figured i'd write to let ya's know that I might not be able to get on for tonights raid...or on for anything at all. Since yesterday, my Station Launcher is acting up. I was on yesterday for a bit before shutting down to go out for a bit. But when I came back and tried to get into eq1, the update part of the Launcher is buggy. Whenever it starts to scan for updates and gets to the part where it says 'Loading Remote Manifest', it just stays there and eventually get a error message saying 'An unknown error has occurred while updating.', and i don't understand why. If anyone happens to know some solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreicated! lol

From online help.station.sony.com forum (created 1-22-2008 and updated 7-6-2010)....main issue posted......Launchpad hangs at initial loading / no longer loads properly.

1.Delete the launchpad.exe from from the c:\programfiles\sony\station\launchpad folder

2.Click on the link below, choose "Repair", and complete the installation
http://patch.station.sony.com:7000/patch/launchpad/Install_LaunchPad.exe

3.Run the game normally from your desktop.

This should fix any new launchpad issues you may be having. If you are still encountering a problem with this solution and need assistance, please contact our Technical Support department.

Could use the original EQ patcher, but since launchpad deletes it, you might have to have someone email it to you or copy from another computer.

That is of course unless you play those other SoE games =p
