Launchpad keeps giving me an error that it cannot find the host. Is anyone else having this problem? EQPlayers also not coming up.

this happened to me for a few hours when they first patched the new launcher. I just waited it out. Others figured out how to bypass it, but they'll have to post what they did.

Some deleted some files and downloaded - not sure exactly what files they did delete, I'll leave that to them to post.

This is what I am getting. It worked just fine up until now, so I have no idea why it would stop.

mine isn't working either, getting same error as Gok

Seems to be a DNS issue, I used my normal ISP and tried to look up manifest.patch.station.sony.com and got just an MX record. Using another ISP, I got 2 real IP addresses: 64.37.129.51 & 64.37.129.35.

If you know how to mess with your hosts file, you can put one of those addresses in there for manifest.patch.station.sony.com and it will start working (it did for me). But you have to remember to remove it when the problem is fixed.

Actually.. come to think about it, I think Xslia and Jae did this just so we have to come here to post and look for info and also read and sign their manditory post read! Evil they are!

I had to launch mine with eqgame.exe -patchme which skips the patcher.

I give up. I can't even access the forums to post a gripe

I can't get on either. Been trying all night. Even EQPlayers is down. I wonder if it really is a DNS issue or if SoE has had another security breach. Time will tell. All my other internets are fine.

Allakhazam's been down most of the morning as well, as well as a few other sites I use.
