A bit of better news

Wow, I went away for a week and so much sad news coming in.
I've spent the last week visiting my GF in Philippines. We've been planning to get married in April, and this trip was supposed to be for getting all the paperwork for the marriage license (requires a 10-day waiting period before it gets issued).
We managed to get the right connections, some palms got greased, and that rule got ignored so we had a civil ceremony on friday. We're still going to have a church ceremony in about 6 weeks though.
She's still in Philippines at the moment, we're trying to work out the visa details to get her to Japan, hopefully that will be done in a few months.
This is from last year, the pictures at the civil ceremony weren't that hot.
