OK folks - I'm not sure what this means since the expansion is not released but was part of the teaser statements, but I will go ahead and post this statement. If there any type of "customizable" gear that drops on raids, there may be rules implemented around this. As with any expansion and gear changes - we always review and adjust our rules - like with Crystallos, when they had made gear dependent on having the level prior to combine it. We will always review and do what makes best sense for the raid force.

Ok, I'm going to post this now so you all have time to digest it.

with the NDA lifted - there is a new gear feature in RoF - ALL NON Visible gear is all/all - which means every ring, neck, ear , etc has no class identification - it is just ALL/ALL with the heroic's being the onlyl difference.

BE PREPARED for us to make some rules around RESTRICTING specific GEAR STATS to lines of classes. LIKE THINGS WITH heroic stat's higher then other stat's going to different class lines, +WIS to Priest classes, +INT to Silk Nukers, etc., There may be groupings of 1 or 2 primary stat's to used to identify bids by class lines. It would pain me to see a +WIS item go to a Melee class because it had +2 agi, 1 AC and 200 HP more than what they had before.

But I NEED that 1 AC and besides wit the nef to Heroic Dex... Heroic Agility is probalb the best stat for Monks... So it was TWO wins in one


And as a counter point, I would hate to see a "Class Restricted" item go to a raider for 1 DKP when it might be a 1k HP/MANA upgrade for a another raider.

we just need to look at the situation Eagles and make the best sense out of it for the raid force - seriously - a ALL/ALL ear with EM on it going to a tank? I hate making rules because it makes me have to remember them all - I go with the keep it simple process, but I think we need some guidelines and maybe the example I had as not the best with all the changes but I think you understand where I'm coming from. would you want a +AGL item going to a caster?

Would it allow that caster to live?
