I just wanted to post and let every one know that donglad passed away on August 30th
i've noticed he never made it back from siapan on a work project and i was getting worried , so i sent several emails to him and talked about him to various friends about not logging on . it just wasnt like him to not let me know whats up. his real life name was> Kevin Malavolti <
So i found this just a few mins ago ,

How can you honestly say goodbye to Donglad.... you can't, it's more of a "till we meet again". He made you mad, sad and EVERYTHING else. Now I may not have known him as long as others, but I considered him to be a friend. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Favourite quote.... "I Promise Nohting"

Donglad was on E`ci with me - he started with public in Dec 04 and he's been a loyal raider and in game friend for years. This leaves a big hole in our raid family and he will always be remembered as being funny, always having a witty joke or comeback and as his favorite line as Silver pointed out "I promise nothing". I promise this.. he will be greatly missed - by me and this raid force.

Give em heck in heaven and chase all the angels.

My heart goes out to all his family and friends.

I know I am fairly new to this family as compared to most others, but I felt I got to know Donglad pretty well, especially when grouped with Silver and Kaneldar.

My favourite Donglad moment (and I still teased him even recently), was when he was arriving late to our Erudin group mission (The Pit Of All Fears)...
So Kane begins pulling and splitting mobs in order to single out our first few mobs until Donglad arrives.
When Kane pulled for the second mob, several came ... he FD's ... mobs all stop *at the zone-in spot* ... Donglad pops in ... mobs all say "Hello!" ... Donglad drops like he had a 200-pound concrete block tied to his ankle over the ocean ...

Ever since that day, Silver and I put the fear of God into him whenever he saw us all in the same group (and we never had to say anything in chat!). He would simply join group, see us both in there already and say, "OMG!" ...

I miss you buddy. Been wondering where you were. Now I wish you good journey, fair winds, and Godspeed.

Very sad news and I pray for his family and friends.

First, I want to express my sincere sympathies for his family and loved ones. He will be missed by all. Second, I want to thank Cellar for checking up on the Donglad. Don (Kevin) enjoyed life. I was talking with Gagg last night after I heard the sad news, about how Don reminded me of Tigger of winnie the pooh fame. He brought smiles and laughter and BOUNCE to the game and his life. He enjoyed his life and made it fun for all others to join in and poke fun at themselves and him. It was a free for all joke fest with him. No one was safe and all were able to take their shots. I will miss that devilish smile I knew he had when he approached life in all forms. As time goes on our tears of sadness will be replaced by smiles of the good times that followed him around.

He will be missed by all.

Don't forget to order lots of pizza for the angelic crowd Donglad! Sissah loves the Donglad!

How does one say goodbye to someone like Don...I met him years ago and enjoyed every single conversation we had.Everyone that knew the name Donglad spoke of him with praise and well wishes.You couldn't help but feel good around him.He truly made those intense times so much easier to deal with,nobody could handle Cellar quite like him.I spent many days grouped with him questing,farming grinding xp.He was just an all around great person.Sadly,this year has been rather rough for losing great people in public raiding.There will be other Paladins along the way but nobody will ever be able to fill the void he has left here.
I personally wouldn't consider it saying goodbye,I will always remember the things he taught me about myself in game and real life.Til we meet again old friend,keep a spot in group for me.
