I have been away for a significantly long period of time. This was initially due in large part with me having had a lightning strike pretty much fry everything but my 2004 laptop. The laptop was barely group capable and never raid capable.

Since that point I spent a significant amount of time with my wife's grandfather helping him with some things and trying to get him through some rough spots between Christmas and planting time. You see he turned 93 years old on February 28th and his wife passed away 4 years ago on March 7th. He has always had a hard time since then around this time of year. This year his sister and his Platoon leader from WW2 and a buddy that fought beside him in the Korean War all passed away in January. I spent a good deal of time with him writing down his stories and memories as much as he would allow at any rate. Eventually I may be able to organize all of the notes and stories into something more than the ramblings and the scribbling's into something a bit more polished (or just less all over the place).

A great man passed in his sleep after calling and talking with all of his kids on March 7th.

I will continue to be away for at least awhile longer.

Hami - sorry for your family's loss and I know he cherished the time you spent with him helping him, if nothing else for the company. Your a good son in law.
