Hren's Guide to Raid Drops with Focus Effects (6-23-06)

The following is a list I've compiled demonstrating what focus effects are available from mobs we are currently farming. Hopefully people can find this useful in planning equipment upgrades, and to stop them from being retarded and blocking classes from attaining items much better suited for them and the raid force.

I've included some non-caster foci that pertained to me (defensive mods, shielding) as an SK, since that's how my list started awhile back. I included them since I use this list for my own reference in addition to sharing it. I also have bard instrument mods, even though epic 2.0 eliminates the need for most instrument mods.

These modifiers are listed: All raid-level spell foci I can procure info on; Shielding for plate tanks; Improved Defensive Skill mods; Melee Skill Mods; Ferocity; Cleave; Sharpshooting; Haste; Pet Foci. All foci are level 70 max, unless noted otherwise.

Italicized items have sub-70 max level of effect.
Cyan-colored items are class-specific.
Brown-colored mobs we have not killed or can not yet access.
Green-colored items come from mobs we fight infrequently and thus should not be counted on.

To qualify for my list, we have to do mobs at least twice a month. I will list some mobs that we are working on beating, or looking forward to.

Mobs currently listed: DoN and Relic dragons, DoD Curse raids, ToB minis, Citadel of Anguish, and Demi-plane Tier 1.

"Green" events are events that we only sporadically farm, and are included merely to showcase what items to look for during those infrequent raids. The green list is not intended to be a complete backlog of our past raids, nor will it ever be.

I reserve the right to remove anything from this list when I choose to, since I'm the one maintaining it. Also, no, I won't list 2-handed weapons with Shielding, and if you don't know why, go read my stickied Guide to Mitigation. I have also not listed augments.

Well some of us are smart bidders, some just don't care as long as it benefits them regardless of foci that is better for others.

I agree that 80% of the raiders pay attention to foci and such, just like you will never see me bid on a benefical mana preservation item unless it is under 20 dkp, which is a much needed Foci for all our healers, even if the damn things was a +200 mana upgrade!!!!!!.

What I want is a beneficial spell haste (yep, silly me) but as long as there is a buffing/healing class bidding more then 20 dkp, I'll not jump in and bid on it or bid it up

But it's open season for any melee foci effects
