I came across this website in regards to John Lennon whose birthday is today by pure accident. You can watch the lightening of the tower in about 35 min from this posting, live. It is impressive and the depending on the cloud cover it is always a new look, from the pictures I have seen, it is spectacular, especially with the Aurora Borealis in the background (attached is a small photo).
