Charm Information: Remains of a Well Victim

Hi,

I got this charm last night, and the effect is sufficiently unknown that I thought it would be a good idea to post some information about it so people can make good decisions when spending their DKP.

Short version: This is a very good charm.

Long version:

At the moment, Anas has raid buffs and 62222 hp. The starting point for the charm is 854hp with nobody in the group, so Anas's effective HP is 61368 for purposes of the charm's calculation.

no group or no group members in zone: 854 hp, 854 mana, 45 ac, 6 hSta, 6 hWis

with a merc: 854 hp, 854 mana, 45 ac, 6 hSta, 6 hWis

with my bard (61851 hp with current buffs): 1749 hp, 1748 mana, 91 ac, 13 hSta, 12 hWis

with my bard + deedly (58144 hp with current buffs): 1749 hp, 1748 mana, 91 ac, 13 hSta, 12 hWis

with my bard + deedly + kabbx (recently dead; 36834 hp unbuffed): 1749 hp, 1748 mana, 91 ac, 13 hSta, 12 hWis

So, initial observations:

1) It doesn't matter how many people in your group.

2) Mercenaries do not count toward the calculation.

3) The charm is resilient; adding a player with much lower hp will not make the charm much worse (as long as there are several people in your group to keep the average up).

It seems that the charm is basically adding up the HP of every group member, dividing that by the number of group members, and then using that as the comparison value.

If I remove my bard, things change pretty rapidly: 1311 hp, 1311 mana, 71 ac, 9 hSta, 9 hWis

If I then buff kabbx with unity to close the gap a little, it changes to: 1574 hp, 1573 mana, 81 ac, 11 hSta, 11 hWis

If I then add Reliance... nothing happens. It must be tiered.

If I add Wild Growth... still nothing. The top tier must require a pretty close match.

So, overall:

* A person who solo's or molo's would NOT like this charm.
* A person who 2-boxes (or more) would like it very much.
* On our raids, the charm is likely to be between very good and maxed, depending on your group makeup and your personal gear level.

Anyway, those are my observations. Its a great charm for me, that much is certain.
