Bid mistakes - they happen

In the dkp bid/corrections section is item #4.

4) ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES does anyone LOOT any item, until auctioneer issues a confirmation of the won item. Confirmation from auctioneer looks like the following : Gratz <NAME> <ITEM> <DKP AMOUNT>. I don't care if 50+ raiders send you gratz tells, or way-to-go messages, the only one that matters is that confirmation by the auctioneer. Note: sometimes even the auctioneer misses something - check your randoms against others also - make sure your random was the highest. Please wait at least 30 seconds before looting so that we can catch any mistakes that may happen.

Yes sometimes the auctioneers make a mistake. If you see something - PLEASE put it in /RSAY ASAP - since that is the channel we are doing the loot bids/awards in - that is probably the only channel we are watching. Saying something in group, guild, class, fellowship, ashorty, channels or /say may not get the attention of the auctioneer in time. Our UI screen may not be in the same layout as yours - so what we watch during bids may not be what you are looking at. I know most of my non /rsay /raidchat text windows is covered up with open Loot links so I can bid off those items. So things being said in those channels are not my priority when awarding loot - most of the time I do not see them until I close a opened loot item because it whats I use to link and know what is being bid on at the time.

Also - please wait to loot after an award is done - unless we are looking at timer issue on the chest (which has not happened in a few expansions) a small wait time is expected so that we can catch mistakes and corrections before someone loots. During this 30 second window - check your /random against the others and say something quickly so the auctioneer and raiders have a chance to respond.
